I don't even know what I was expecting. This book was awful in so many ways, but I guess I'll pick one. This is the most nasty, weird predatory sh*t I've read since Twilight. But honestly? I don't even care that the whole 'Dark Romance' genre is just abuse put into a pretty little fetish package. This book specifically was just... Bad. That's really it. The prose is barely halfway decent, the description is just barely enough to describe the scenes in some places, and absolutely abysmal in others. The author uses far too many curse words in the character's internal dialogue, and it just comes off cheap. It reminded me of a creator by the name of Vivienne Medrano, who also uses the same type of writing style. She is the creator of Hazbin Hotel, which is an animated series on Amazon Prime. And, I actually believe that Hazbin had a solid foundation, It was just done absolutely abysmal by the crude, cheap, dirty humour. I'll give the same advice to the author here as I would to her. Focus on your actual prose and humour, instead of throwing a bunch of swears around to look 'edgy and adult'. I don't even really mind the plot, people can enjoy what they want, I just find issue with the fact that so many young people are reading this and are approving of the actions within, which I notice is a common trope within Adult Romance/Dark Romance. I was recommended this book from the internet, and I can scarcely believe that my feed thought I would enjoy this. I did find myself not entirely hating parts of it, but I genuinely just could not finish this thing for the life of me. I swear, reading War and Peace was easier than getting through this. No hate to you if you liked this book, I'm sure I love a lot of things people hate. That's what public reviews are for. Thanks for reading my essay, have a good night/day/whatever it is for you.

Subject: Book written by hd carlton ,HAUNTING ADELINE a book by HD Carter, is about a stalker who stalks a female protagonist.

The way intimate experiences are written in this book piques readers' curiosity and makes them want to read certain chapters again and again. It was also quite exciting to read and the language used was easily understood.
Every small moment was handled expertly, and the male and female protagonists' descriptions were excellent. The story was thrilling and hair-raising, with a hint of dread and other eerie elements, and it was highly entertaining and rewarding.
