As a Survival Hunter, you should generally be using a Ferocity pet for raids. They provide 10% Leech, which will heal you when you do damage. While any good-looking Ferocity pet will do well in most situations, Healing Reduction pets like Carrion Birds, Ravagers, Scorpid, and Wasps can be situationally useful.
In Dragonflight, all pets do equal damage. The only thing that differentiates Pets are their specialization (Ferocity, Cunning, and Tenacity), and their "Family Ability." Unless you are doing competitive content, you do not have to worry about having the "right" pet.
For Leveling, the best choice is a Ferocity pet. They can heal themselves upon inflicting damage. Ferocity pets also can grant Primal Rage for your party, which is an analog to Bloodlust effect.
