In Mortal Kombat 11's Krypt, you'll find a large Forge area soon after you begin your exploration of Shang Tsung's island fortress. How the MK11 Forge works is a bit of a mystery that's not explained well - and it can seem pretty costly as well.
In essence, the Forge can be used to craft Konsumables to be used in modes like the Towers of Time and Klassic Towers to gain an edge against your opponents - but things aren't that simple.
By default, you won't know of any MK11 forge recipes, and you may end up finding lots of Forge Items with no idea on how they work. When interacting, the Forge allows for three items to be slotted to combine and craft an entirely new item. Each Forge Item has its own rarity and cost for crafting, and is combined with the cost of the other Forge Items you're trying to combine.
WARNING: If you try to craft an item using the wrong ingredients, you won't lose the ingredients, but you WILL lose ALL the costs associated with each ingredient - this includes Soul Fragments and Hearts, so be careful! Thankfully, the order doesn't matter.

The MK11 Forge Recipes can be found in chests - but sometimes don't give the full list of ingredients - but will give you the right items to craft with in the chest that holds the recipe. Once unlocked, you can view a recipe in the Kollections tab of the Kustomize options.
MK11 Forge Items and Cost
Below is a list of all known Items that can be used in the Forge, and how much it costs to combine them to create new items.
Forge Items are often found in chests randomly located within the Krypt, but can also be found by breaking the lava rocks that fall from the sky into the Central Courtyard every 4-5 minutes. Note that chests that contain Forge Items can be "resealed" by using Kronika's Time Vault and paying Koins to revert them back to being unopened.
As a general rule, basic items will usually cost either 400 Koins, 20 Soul Fragments, or 4 Hearts. However, specialized items needed for rare forge creations will require a much larger cost - 20,000 Koins and 500 Soul Fragments.
