How to win the Battle of Ashran? ›

The Objective

In Ashran, there exists a main road (The Road of Glory) that you capture different points (Eye of the Storm-style flags) to progress further along the road until you can assault the enemy faction's base and kill their leader. The first flag will always start at the Crossroads, or XR for short.

If Kronus is overwhelming your defences, get everyone to gather Artifact Fragments and turn them in to summon Fangraal. Fangraal's health scales based on the number of enemy players active at the time when he is summoned. If both Kronus and Fangraal are active at the same time, they can and will attack each other.

This buff is the result of capturing a map objective in the new Ashran Epic Battleground. Unlike the Ancient Artifact, the Solar Sphere is ever-present, located in Rukmaz's Vault, connected to by the Stormshield and Warspear Excavation sites.

Portals are the easiest way to get to Ashran, which is the main city in Draenor. Mages can create a portal for their party members with Portal: Stormshield (Alliance) or Portal: Warspear (Horde). For personal use, they also have Teleport: Stormshield (Alliance) and Teleport: Warspear (Horde).

The fastest way to gain rep is as follows: Kill non-player mobs in the outskirts of Ashran and collect artifact fragments. Rares especially give large numbers. Turn these fragments in to Anenga.

The Fight for Tol Barad

Battles will take place every two hours and thirty minutes, giving the offensive faction a chance to claim territory. Tol Barad will feature capture-point gameplay. There are three keeps and three towers for the defending side to hold.

Found off the north east coast of Draenor's Tanaan Jungle, Ashran is the same island that held Deathwing's Lair shortly after the Second War.

Ashran is a level 100 instanced cross-realm "end game" world PvP zone found in alternate Draenor. The name also refers to the greater Ashran zone, including the Alliance and Horde capitals, which are set outside of the PvP zone itself.

During the story quests where you establish your Garrison, you will be given a quest to go to Ashran. You talk to the Flight Master at your Garrison and pick to fly to your faction's city on Ashran.

The Tower of War is built just outside the commander's garrison when it reaches tier 3. It houses a portal to Ashran and serves as a hiding place for civilians during garrison invasions.

Is there an auction house in Ashran? ›

Auction House is a sub-zone of Warspear's tauren district in Ashran.

Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting and the key to doing so is to know your enemy. If your opponent is arrogant, pretend to be weak, so he will underestimate your capability. If he was relaxing, attack and give him no rest. If his forces are united separate them.

Gameplay. Ashran is a large-scale world PvP zone which combines hectic 200-strong PvP combat with strategic elements such as capturable bases and recruitable NPCs, and PvE elements involving gathering resources from mobs, slaying enemy captains and fighting massive raid boss-style faction guardians and generals.

Similar to Alterac Valley, the main objective of the battleground is the defeat of the opposing general, but to achieve this players will have to fight for control of workshops and docks, destroy enemy defenses with siege engines and demolishers, and sky-dive behind enemy lines from massive airships.

To achieve victory in Alterac Valley, players must kill the enemy General Vanndar Stormpike or Drek'Thar. This goal is made easier by destroying enemy bunkers/towers to reduce the number of elites (Marshals/Warmasters) guarding the General.
